Join Little Bit for a socially distanced day of golf at The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge on September 10th. Enjoy a safe and fun day of golf on a beautiful course while raising funds for Little Bit.
Little Bit’s greatest priority is maintaining safety as well as following state and recommended guidelines. We will not be having a banquet, but instead will provide pulled pork sandwiches on the back nine and a beverage cart that will make rounds. With staggered start times beginning at 9 a.m. and modified games for fundraising, we plan to have a safe day of competitive fun while raising money for our riders and families here at Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center.
Sponsorship opportunities are available. Please contact Development Coordinator Ellie Ish at eish@littlebit.org for more information.
Registration will be open the week of August 10 and closes September 2. Watch this page for the link. The player fee is $125 which includes:
- 18 holes of golf
- Power cart (seats two)
- Scorecards and scoring
- Boxed lunch
The following safety protocols will be in place for the event.
- Golfers are encouraged to register with a household member and that the household member shares their cart.
- Golfers are expected to include those in their foursome as the five members outside of their household they gather with per week, as outlined in Phase 2 of Washington's Phased Approach to reopening.
- Foursomes will begin at assigned and staggered start times at the first hole. There will not be a "shotgun start."
- The game will follow a scramble format to allow for golfers of all levels to enjoy their day on the greens.
- Golfers arrive 30 minutes or less before their tee time. Golfers are welcome to use designated practice areas before their tee time, with stalls that support social distancing.
- All golfers must be wearing a mask upon check in. Masks are required inside and in common areas. Golfers can use their discretion when deciding to wear a mask on the course.
- Club rentals will not be available.
- Valet bag drop will not be available. Golfers must handle their own bags.
- Group gatherings at any location at the club, including holes, are limited to five people. We will not be able to offer a post-event gathering this year.
- Any additional purchases will be made by credit card. No cash.
- Golf carts will come pre-loaded with everything you need for the day, including score cards, new pens, etc. to prevent unnecessary contact.
